On her way to beating Hannah Goldy, Molly McCann continued her form with another spinning elbow.
Earlier in the evening, McCann defeated Hannah Goldy in the women’s flyweight division with a first-round TKO.
The triumph makes it three in a row for the Liverpudlian.
When she made contact with the same move to rock Goldy, she risked a repetition of her spinning elbow knockout against Luana Carolina in March.
She then attempted to capitalize with a barrage of punches, pinning her opponent against the fence before knocking her out and forcing the referee to intervene.
“I don’t know if I’ve ever seen this in a combat sport – the UK getting behind female athletes,” said McCann during her post-fight interview. “It’s those walkouts – it’s that energy which gets you finished.
“I will not let you down, I’m not Everton Football Club.
”Have you ever seen lightning strike twice?”
